As it was raining heavily, there wasn't a taxi in sight to flag down. Trixy had to call for a taxi from her mobile phone and we decided to go to their supermarket. To our surprise, the taxi driver spoke in Mandarin after finding out that we were from Malaysia. I managed to converse with him in whatever Mandarin that I could muster :P
We spent about half hour in the supermarket looking for made-in-Hue products for Trixy to bring back to her staff. Also bought an orange for our dessert and the supermarket personnel graciously called a taxi for us using the company's phone (never seen that in Singapore or Malaysia, EVER!).
Well, enough said...we arrived safely at the Huong Giang Hotel and called it a night early coz of the rain, both of us were feeling sick from the constant change in temperature (cold air cond and going under the hot sun) and anticipation of the strenuous activities that await us for tomorrow's guided day tour around Hue.
