Hue Day tour Part 2 - Hue Imperial City

Second leg of our day tour.....after Thien Mu Pagoda, a Ford Everest was there (with driver of course!) to transport us to our next destination, the Hue Imperial City.

Left: Our entrance tickets
Middle: Plaque explained short history of the Hue Imperial City (within which the Forbidden Purple City is located)
Right: Jo & Trix in between the Ngo Mon (South Gate entrance) and the Forbidden Purple City (behind us)

Left: Moat within the Imperial City (it's spring now, otherwise there are lotus plants greeting us...or so the tour guide said)
Right: Hue Museum of Royal Fine Arts...few pieces of artifacts

I think this building houses all the beds that the past 13 Emperors of the Nguyen Dynasty died in!
