This is the first time that I've been to temple so early in the morning in a long, long time!
I took a swim in the morning, showered and Geracie sent her Waja over to the Hotel.
After sending Geracie home (she loaned me her car for the Wesak-Labour Day public holidays 01-02May07). I went to the 7-storey pagoda temple abt 8plus.
Not knowing where to purchase the joss sticks/papers I was just hanging near the counter, where there were many people. As I got nearer the counter, a man was giving away packets of rice. Well, since I was already in the queue....might as well get a packet ;)
After I got the packet of rice, I saw where the joss sticks/ papers were placed for sale and bought a set.
Thank goodness I didn't have breakfast before going to the temple (I remembered my Dad telling me that if fasting, the joss stick incense'll not affect my eyes to tear badly). The smoke was pretty intense in the main hall.
FYI, I do not enjoy vegetables, especially peas & beans.
After doing the necessary prayers, etc. time to burn the joss paper offering.
Once completed, back to RH Hotel for my breakfast....hmmm....what am I to do with the packet of rice?
