Still using Geracie's Proton Waja, G and I set off on a cool Sun morning to Mukah via Jln Teku-Jln Pasai Siong. That's coz I didn't ask which road to use and from the Sibu Map, the distance looks near towards the 'highway' to Mukah.

A temple along Jln Pasai Siong - unexpected view as along the way (bumpy, uneven road condition) all we could see were the secondary forests and small farms, plantation.

River below's Batang Mukah (Mukah River)....the only yellow bridge I've come acrossed so far.
I was pleasantly surprised to find that the road conditions on the coastal highway to be in better condition and a breeze to drive on. U'll pass Kingwood Resort before getting to this bridge.

The 'tibau' - built using 2 hardwood poles and 4 rattan cables holding it upright, with a rattan cable hanging from the middle. No nails are used, for metal is not favoured by the spirit believed to inhabit the tibau.
It's a game young unmarried men play to impress the womenfolk.
As for me, it's a giant swing and if u missed the cable from ur jump from platform it's mortally perilious!

Each long house has a 'stall' to display handicraft/food for sale by the Kala Dana beach. It was a hot day at the beach. The lady in grey t-shirt with black backpack on the left is G :)

Mosque at the end of the Boulevard at Mukah.
It was a 3 hours long drive there but on the way back it rained cats and dogs. We managed to make it back to Sibu safely about 3pm. I was mildly sunburnt from the driving and walking in the fair by the Kala Dana beach!
