Bali... here I come

The day has finally come for my Bali trip with Li Li and Tin Choo. For the first time, I'll be flying separately from friends. My Garuda Indonesia flight to Ngurah Rai International Airport, Denpasar (DPS) from Singapore shall be at 4:45pm while LL & TC's AirAsia flight shall be from LCCT, departing @ the same time.

Anyways, I'll probably be loitering at the baggage area until their arrival as the flight from Singapore's expected to arrive half hour earlier.

Shall write about our 6 days trip later...

Jo the Tourist @ Singapore Bird Park

I managed to ballot for my company's free passes to Singapore Bird Park last month to go for a visit over this weekend. As Siew Khee was working on Sat, we went on Sun morning.

We managed to watch 1 show then headed to the monorail (SGD5/adult) for a ride around the Bird Park. We did a quick tour as the heat was getting to us and Siew Khee had a wedding to attend abt 4pm...

Lunch @ Paulaner Brauhaus

I could not remember it was who's suggestions, but we had a sumptious lunch at Paulaner Brauhaus @ Millenia Walk, opposite Suntec on Jasmine's last working day.

After poring through the menu on what available, most of us decided to order set meals...apart from being reasonably priced, it'll probably be served faster than ordering ala carte. Tracey ordered beer (buy 1 free 1) so Philip obliged to help with the extra. Mind you, it was a working day... But the pork knuckles in Uncle Ho's Fine Dining (in Mid Valley, KL) tastes somewhat better...

R - From left: Eric, Tracey & Jasmine

Boy, were we wrong! think it was a good half hour wait before all were served...I spent some of the time taking photos of the place :D

Alas, the appetiser arrived 1st, smoked salmon salad:-

Thereafter, the main course were slowly served:

L - Wei Hong had the sausage set while Allen had beef steak
R - I had grilled chicken with bacon strips
The place has nice deco and according to Tracey, there's a good ban that plays on weekends. I hope to some time soon :D
