err...Glad to have a place to work?

I've been assigned to new assignment in Toa Payoh. Gosh, you should check out the condition of the room my colleagues and I (altogether 4 of us) were placed in.
yup, it's a storeroom. Good thing is that the room has air-conditioning and we were given a box fan to keep the room well-ventilated. The Ikea folding chairs were comfortable in the beginning but bad for posture, had backache after days sitting on the chair. Work hazards that Internal Auditors have to go through...
Nice view huh? :D
Those blocks of flat behind me were torn down and rebuilt, nice new HDB design...condo style.
To keep ourselves connected, I had to 'borrow' network cables from home (5m and 10m) as company-issued ones were only 3m long...not long enough the stretch into the storeroom. FYI, we were using a network hub ;)

Changi T3 and potential tenant (arrghh...)

Hello...I was out with Siew Khee to Expo for Metrojaya Warehouse Sale, a disappointing affair. The highlight of our day was Changi Terminal 3, we went to check out the spanking new 'baby' via MRT.

neat, neat rows of trolleys.....placed Singaporean style, I guess. Not even touching!

Tho there have been reports of floor tiles being reflective, I didn't even notice it.

On the 1st floor...looking into the T3 shopping concourse for departing passengers.

the building opposite's Terminal 2 Changi

Dont check me out, check the roof slats.....lets in natural light and lowers lighting costs ;)

Then had to rush home to Tampines as my Mom's friend's nephew and his family were waiting for me to view the spare room (think i reached back abt 3:30pm). I wouldn't have agreed to renting the room out but then my Mom said that the guy had no time to look for other place. They were happy with the size of the room, etc. so I gave them the keys (BIG MISTAKE), I'll never do that again...well, u'll know why, just read on...

Then his Mom texted me the following day to inform that he'll not be renting as they've found a relative who's willing to take him in. They'll return my keys the following weekend. By the following weekend, his Mom texted me that he'll be renting...just cannot make up his mind...haih...

Hope he moves out as informed verbally by end-May'08, hate not having the privacy tho the room rent's great @ SGD500 (excluding utilities).

Laksa in Queensway Shopping Centre

I was out on Saturday (16Feb) showing Siew Khee some parts of Singapore.

After doing laundry, ironing (something I don't do well but it has to be done) and groceries shopping at Fair Price, I took SBS Bus #59 to meet Siew Khee at Bishan MRT. We took the MRT to Orchard and headed towards Far East Plaza @ Scotts Road (said to be the equivalent of Sg Wang Plaza).

I was hungry, so as we exited at Tangs we had Teriyaki Chicken Meat Ball (S$1.30 each stick Tori-Q) and Sugar Cane with Sour Plum (S$1.60 each). It was about 1pm then, however there were not many people in FEP. There were stores and kiosk selling fashion accessories, jewellery store, food stores, clothes made-to-measure stores, etc.

Next we took to Anchorpoint and also managed to cover Queensway Shopping Centre. Finally tried the famous Katong laksa, found it a bit 'lemak' (rich for my taste).
